The News

As with the big deal, not a lot going on, finals and jobs and stuff, slow but steady.

The winner of the raffle was the holder of ticket #0249856, proud owner of a free 360.

The links to the news clip is still here, as well as this one.

The Details

On November twentieth at 6:00 p.m. we started our record attempt for the longest first person shooter marathon. The current record is 24 hours and 4 minutes held by the British gaming team the "Frag Dolls". We used the event as a fundraising event for the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation in Edmonton, for which we proud to raise a thousand dollars. We were hosted by Apocalypse Gaming in the downtown Edmonton area. We made it to fourty hours before we had to call it quits, we beat the record, but not out personal goal. Just processing evidence and shipping it off to london to await results.
